  It's a study case and has o-rings to give it a nice snug feel when closing. These companies constantly try to state their product is "military grade" but its mostly marketing as no third party is actually testing these to spec. I highly doubt these are fireproof as well as the claim tested by a third party nor do they outline how long exactly they can last at what temp and for how long. It's simply an aluminum case with nice texturing to avoid slippage and that's the mindset you should be in when you buy this case.

  This cold wallet storage capsule is built like a tank. It’s virtually indestructible—the waterproof tube it’s made of aircraft aluminum. The Ledger x fits perfectly inside. It has foam at the bottom and in the cap to help absorb the shock if you were to drop it and help preserve your valuable ledger. Overall, this crypto pod is a great way to protect your ledger nano x, it’s a bit larger than I had hoped, but there are not many options out there.
